Hechizo VG (Joyero Salvatella x Venezolana II). Pura Raza Española Mare born 2010
Hechizo VG is a bay purebred Spanish mare with exceptional movements in three gaits, as well as great dressage talent. Hechizo VG started her training as a three year old mare with with a Spanish professional rider educated at one of Spain’s leading dressage academies. Once our team of technical advisors confirmed that she had both the quality and readiness to start in the FEI Young Horse class, we took her out of training to start her life as a brood mare.
"Hechizo" means "magical spell" in Spanish, a fitting name to the mother of some of our favourite offspring that has showed exceptional temperament and intelligence.
Hechizo VG is of the international Grand Prix star Joyero VG (Corinto X x Joyera XI) line. She is a sister of dressage PRE Kharma VG.

Origins
On the father side, Hechizo VG is a daughter of Joyero, son of Corinto X, the grandson of the outstanding Guardiola stallion Educado X, and the great grandson of the legendary Guardiola stallion Centella V.
Centella V, Champion of Spain 1984, is a key to some of the best PRE dressage bloodlines. This amazing horse is the father of a number of extraordinary PRE, like the outstanding stud stallion Educado X, both of the world famous Guardiola bloodline.
Educado X is four times the winner of SICAB gold medals, and is himself father of many of Spain’s multichampion horses.
The Guardiola is one of the most prominent families / studfarms / bloodlines of Spain. PRE breeders since many generations of working horses suitable for the hard and often dangerous work with the bulls in the fields, the family is famous for the power, intelligence and strength of their hard-working PRE horses.

A wonderful example of this athletic PRE bloodline, Hechizo's father Joyero (Corinto X x Joyera XI) is a grandson of Educado X. Joyero is an excellent example of the genetic power of the Centella V line, giving strong, beautiful and athletic offspring with excellent gaits and very good, often naturally uphill movements, which is otherwise very rare in the PRE breed.
